Artist's Description
This flying bird painting took me a long time to finish. I started painting it a few years back. It started with different color scheme, and I was not fond of that. The bird was painted and added in after I took a photo of a flying white crane. I had to make some adjustments to bird's head, in photo bird was flying over water, head was dipped below the front wing, as it was looking for fish. Photo was not all that sharp and the highlights needed to be added or corrected in final painting. So here is the result of many hours of digital painting.
About Tatiana Fess
I was born in Slovenia (former Yugoslavia). In 1987 I settled in Cleveland, OH, where I still reside with my husband and two sons. My passion for photography was born while travelling around the world as a flight attendant in the nineties, capturing sites and people I met. Around the same time I developed a passion for digital art and design as well. Both mediums have gone hand in hand with each other for all these years. This hobby eventually lead me into the professional photography business that my husband started prior to our wedding in 1999.
